Chennai in last 100 years never witnessed such bad rains and flooding. But the nature’s fury devastated the city and it’s outskirts in November and December 2015. We at our end mobilsed and sent relief works of almost 16,000 kgs which included Rice Dal, Biscuits, Toiletries, Sanitary Napkins, Water, Cutlery, Portable Water Purifier, Clothes, Stationery and Schoolbags. This was possible only due to generous donors coming forward, the logistic support offered by airlines and the strong local and team who helped us distribute the relief works directly in the affected villages. The villages where we could reach were Keezhkattalai, Chemmanjeri, Saidapet, Palikaranai, Tambaram, Pulicut, Vysarpadi, Naapalyam, Panampattu, Parathur, Meriku Pichavaram and Kanu Nagar
